EWAB Conveying equipment is divided into weight groups. The weight capacity given is including fixtures and tooling.

Weights up to 50kg

For low to medium weight parts up to 50kg EWAB Flow Technology uses the palletised conveyor type that was invented by EWAB in 1978 called the PS series.

Which PS model that will be used depends on weight of the parts, variations of the part family and balance in respect to point of gravity.

Weights up to 2000 kg

For heavier parts up to 2000kg (including fixtures and tooling). EWAB Flow Technology uses the Carrier conveyor type that was invented by EWAB in 1985 called the CS series. The CS series is a development based on the PS series, with the same layout and flow possibilities,

Which CS model that will be used depends on weight of the parts, variations of the part family and if it is machining or assembly operations.

The CS series of carriers ability to take bigger weights also allows the carrier itself to have quite advanced design, for instance for assembly of truck gearboxes where the gearbox needs to be oriented in various positions for the assembly operator to do the job in an efficient and ergonomic way.
