EWAB Group consolidated turnover for 2011 reached € 44, 8 million. This indicates the end of a difficult two year period 2009 - 2010 when the vehicle industry reduced their investments by half. This has had a dramatic effect on the capacity in the automation and machine tool industry where the suppliers are now having major problem keeping up with customer demand.Due to very strong sales since the beginning of 2011 an onwards, the EWAB Group is currently operating at a level of € 65 million in order to meet the current market demand. New orders during 2011 exceeded € 71 million.
The EWAB Group currently has 260 employees at 12 project centers in 10 counties with 24 400 m2 of floor space.
During 2012 we will add two more Project Centers, one in Brazil and a third location in USA.
Floor space will increase to 36.000 m2 when the new buildings in Germany are ready.
Our balance sheet remains strong with a solidity of 50% (shareholders equity/ total assets)
