If workpieces are in a chaotic orientation and must be fed to a production line in a defined position, a bin picking system is the ideal solution to increase efficiency. With the help of a high-resolution 3D-camera and a high-performance image processing computer, the robot is capable to recognize the exact position of each workpiece in the box, to pick them precisely and safely.

A bin picking cell with a 3D camera enables precise, automated picking of randomly placed objects. The 3D vision system detects shapes, positions, and orientations, guiding a robot to pick and place items accurately. This solution boosts efficiency, reduces errors, and enhances flexibility in manufacturing. In our projects we are using a 3D camera system from Keyence.
