Role Description

Gather business intelligence to qualify new and existing customers in our targeted markets. Establish and nurture the supplier/customer relationship through visits to the customer’s facilities and other appropriate methods of communication.

Pursue business opportunities that culminate in an order while following pricing guidelines established by management. Communicate all details of order to project team during Project Kick-off.

Qualifications

  • Knowledge of industrial environments (material handling, conveyors, robots)
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work well autonomously and within a team, in a fast-paced and deadline-oriented environment.
  • A high degree of proficiency in Microsoft 365 Suite of productivity tools.
  • Strong organization and negotiation skills, time management, and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Self-motivated and ability to multitask.
  • Prospecting companies perceived to have automation requirements based on market research and already identified prospects within EWAB’s CRM.
  • Excellent judgment and solid decision-making skills.
  • Detailed oriented and works with a high degree of accuracy.
  • Possess strong problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to understand and read plant layouts.
  • Ability to travel local (3-hour radius) 25%-50% of the time.

Major Duties

  • Work as part of sales team to establish goals and strategies, and then pro-actively carry out activities in a unified, disciplined fashion.
  • Focus sales development on EWAB target customers maintaining constant personal contact with potential customers.
  • Schedule own customer sales appointments.
  • Coordinate and lead sales activities promoting an enthusiastic spirit within the sales team.
  • Optimize all travel plans both from a cost and number of customers visited standpoint.
  • Document and update all sales activities including conversations, order closing dates and pricing in a CRM.
  • Use the latest version of EWAB pricing tools for all customer proposals.
  • Implement pricing strategies with the primary goal of maximizing the firm’s profits and market share while ensuring customer satisfaction.
  • Responsible for creating and presenting a detailed, well-defined proposal to customer.
  • Assist in the sales training development of newly hired and/or newly promoted Business Engineers.
  • Monitor trends that indicate the need for sales and marketing activities in new target markets that will allow EWAB to diversify its customer mix.
  • Identify and plan into work schedule personal continuous educational training tools specifically related to primary duties that will enhance performance and job effectiveness.
  • Planning and communicating the sold project to the project team at kick off.
  • Develop specific customer focused sales presentations from existing library or newly created slides.
  • Executes contract between customer and EWAB following receipt of purchase order and customer kick-off.

Ihre Qualifikation

  • Abgeschlossener Ingenieurstudiengang oder technische Ausbildung/Studium als Techniker/Meister

  • Mehrjährige Berufserfahrung im Vertrieb

  • Branchenkenntnisse im industriellen Umfeld

  • Sicheres, selbstbewusstes Auftreten mit professioneller Kommunikationsstärke

  • Teamfähigkeit, Flexibilität und eigenständiges Arbeiten

  • Gute Englischkenntnisse

  • Reisebereitschaft
